After so many years as an oral storyteller
I have begun to write (and hopefully publish) some stories.
This journey into the written word has been an amazing eye
opener.
I have written a number of stories although my major project
is a series of picture books focusing on Mental Health
This project began a decade ago. My brother had schizophrenia
and it always presented a problem of "How to explain"
to our nieces and nephews. With this in mind I started to
create stories.
 To
date I have written;
Shadow Bird - Bipolar
Kinaku - Schizophrenia, and
Perfect Fruit - Anorexia.
I am working on - bulimia (possum) and anxiety disorder (cricket)
at the moment.
